My name is Bria Fauntleroy and I was born and raised in the DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) area. Currently, I live in Maryland, where we’re obsessed with our flag, crabs, and Old Bay seasoning. You can always catch me snuggled up in blankets, surrounded by plushies. When I’m not at home, I love going to paint and sips, bowling, and anything activity based.
I'm an Advocate.
Here are some of my values:
Inclusion
I belong to many marginalized communities. I’m black. I’m a woman. I’m a part of the LGBTQ+. I’m disabled. These groups deserve to be in the spotlight in the media. This is always top of mind when I am designing.
Community
Humans are social creatures. When isolated for too long, we start going crazy. We’re stronger in numbers. Due to this, I like to provide a safe space for people to share their opinions.
Transparency
I am an open book. I am a firm believer in the phrase “sharing is caring.” I am a student of life and I will share my knowledge with the world. Why? I want the people in my life to be as successful as I am. When we succeed together, we celebrate together.
I'm a UX/UI Designer.
My interest in design dates back to 2012. I was fortunate enough to go to a tech high school where I gained real world experience. At first, Graphic Design was my first love. When I discovered end-to-end, user centered design, I hit the jackpot. UX/UI Design combines my differing interests in the best way possible. I can make my mark in the design space and the diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging space.
